Hello. How are you? I'm hanging in. How about you? Oh man, I'm hanging by a thread. You still kind of wrecked us. Haley hosted, and then I also went to my mother-in-law's, and it was just a very long full day, and I had yesterday off and didn't even really do anything. And I still feel like beat from all of this. We also both have colds that we're pretending are allergies. So we're sorry for the rhythm you sound. I know, yeah. We hosted, which I love doing, and we just did a brunch and we kept it relatively low-key. Like we did paper plates and it was really nice. It was nice, yeah. Um, but normally behavior aside, I would have normally done uh much more in advance, but my allergies slash maybe a cold were so bad the day before that I hit a wall at like 5 p.m. and I was like, Nick, I need to go to bed right now. Yeah. Like, do not pass go, do not make seven quiches, go directly to bed. Um, so then I had to get up super, super early on Easter to make all the Easter happen, um, which was fine. I'm just sort of still recovering from that. And I'm also I'm weaning from pumping, which if you've ever weaned from nursing a baby, is an enormous bummer. And I wasn't ready to do it. And but my baby has maybe an allergy that just makes sense to do it. So that's happening this week, and it's just a lot of things. Um, it's a lot of things, yeah. But that's okay. You don't have to pump on our trip, so that's something, which is great, yeah. Hopefully, I'll be totally done by then, which would be great. So we'll simplify things a little for you. Um, that's next week, by the way. That is a week from Thursday. We're recording on a Tuesday night because we were busy with Easter this weekend, so we didn't get to record. And um, I think we both basically just died yesterday. So we meant to record and we didn't. So I just got home from my day job and we're just ignoring our children while we do this. But yes, it's Tuesday, and we leave a week from Thursday. A week from Thursday. It's probably time to get some running shoes. Is this our third sister trip? This is the third one. Let's think. We did the 40th birthday one for me. We did the agency meeting one that you came to. Yeah, I did an agency meeting one you didn't come to. I did Epic by myself. I did Hollywood without you. Yes. Yeah, so this is number three. Okay, so sister trip 3.0.

unknown

Right.

So, you guys, back in June slash July, I was like, Danielle, here's a really good idea I have for us, which is that we should do our next sister trip and we should register for Run Disney Springtime Surprise. And that will be what we do our next sister trip around. And it'll be so great because I'm having a baby in November, and I'll like get back in shape, and this will be my motivation, and it's gonna be a whole thing, and it's gonna be great. And we should do the 10K, and we're like, okay, fine. And then the race themes came out, and the 10 miler theme was joy and sadness, which is one of my most favorite Disney movies, is inside out. And I was like, Danielle, what's three and a half four miles? So it's so a half a marathon is almost 13.1. 13.1 is a half, yes. So it's like, if you're doing 10, why are we not? I mean, I I'm not saying we're doing ten. I mean we're we've signed up for 10. We're just gonna see how we things go for us. Um but like why stop there, you know? Yes. Um, I know I don't know anything. I don't know anything about that. I don't know anything about this at all, the thing that we're doing. So that's actually what this episode is gonna be about today. It's gonna be about Haley basically telling me what it is we're doing. So, okay, yes. So they did release an event guide, which I have gone through in some detail, and I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos, and we are first timers, man. So if you've come here for advice, I'm so sorry. This is the wrong the wrong podcast for you. But um, yeah, this is basically just us talking about um our first Run Disney experience, and then we'll do a follow-up episode on like what it was actually like. Everything we were wrong about. And Nicole, another agent, and Nicole is very big into Run Disney. She listens, and I can already anticipate the text I'm gonna get, the but like gentle, gently redirecting. Yes, because I don't know what I'm talking about. We don't, we don't. Um, and I mean, crazy man, like June or July of last year is when we registered. That's a long time ago. That's a life. I did not anticipate the life that I currently have. Half my life looked completely different entirely in a really crazy way. And now you have a full-time job and also a part-time job. Also, I was just doing all the side hustles, and this, you know, Disney was my main, or travel really is my main focus. I was doing a bunch of travel. Turns out jobs they have like vacation days and they are finite. Yeah. But um, yeah, so it's a whole different thing that's going on now than when we initially said we were gonna do this. Yes. And so that's where we're at with that. Yes, yep. So um basically, like fitness-wise, Danielle is in amazing shape and goes to the gym, what, five days a week at this point? Typically like five or six days a week, yeah. But no real cardio, just not to say just lifting because it's amazing what you are doing, but just for for context for what we're walking into this marathon with, you're lift, you do a lot of lifting, right? You look at it's basically all strength training. And I I do the um, I'll do the treadmill for five minutes on a lower body day, but I do a pretty slow long stride because it's not really about warming up, it's it's about opening up my hip flexors because I have really tight hips and that's important for lower body lifting. Okay. Okay. Yeah. So we're we're not walking in there with a lot of cardio under our belts. I'm presently doing basically nothing. Um just I mean, my level of panic is at all times pretty high. So my heart is used to going fast. My body at all times thinks we're being chased by a bear. So in theory, I should be ready for this. Just put a bear behind me, and I will probably win the 10 miler. Um, is where my anxiety's at. Remember when you like never mind. You thought there was a bear in your kitchen one time? It was in my bedroom, but yeah. Actual bears. Not great, not great. Um so yeah, so all that is to say, we don't recommend doing what we're doing. I don't want it to sound, I don't want it to sound like we're taking it lightly to roll up to a 10-mile race, not having um prepared in any way. But that's just kind of where we're at. And so we're gonna wing it and we're gonna see how we do. I was looking through the course map today, and I have like uh I'm trying very hard to get okay with the fact that we very likely will not finish this race. That's not usually how I roll. I like change things and I've extremely rolls and like extremely type A. It is extremely very much how I roll. I do not, I don't, I don't know. It's not my thing. So I'm trying to get very okay with it, um, which is which is hard. Because we don't want to break you. No, we don't want to be broken. We don't want to we don't want to get hurt, we don't want to get sick, we don't want any of those things to happen. We want to go and have a fun sister's weekend and and just check out this culty thing. Check out this thing that sounds you know really funny. We're all culty in all the best ways as well. In the good ways, yes, yes. So so that's where we're at. So just for background, I let's see. How old was I when I ran a marathon? I was in China. So 20 21. I would have been in China. I was 23, I think. Okay. So you would have been 20. Yeah, 20, 21. So so that was that was two decades ago. In my head, I'm always like, oh, I ran a marathon a few years ago. So I'm just like uh a little a little motivation away from getting back in really good shape. Yeah. That was two decades ago, my friends. So I did that, and then I actually have registered for one other Run Disney race before, which you may or may not remember. In 2019, Nick and I registered for the wine and dine half marathon. Did not end up doing it, but felt very differently about it as compared to this race. So when we registered for that, we were still living in the Virgin Islands. By the time the race came along, I had moved back to Boston. We were married, I had moved back to Boston, but Nick was still job hunting up here. So he was flying back and forth every two weeks from the Virgin Islands to do like two weeks remote, two weeks living down there. Um, so he didn't remotely have time to train. So he was not gonna do the race. I trained very, very hard and was super proud of it. And then the weekend before we flew to Florida, I did the um the devil's chase up in Salem, which I think didn't John run it. John ran it too. Yeah, John went through running these. Yeah. Um, and I did it and I was really proud of myself. And um, I was fully on on track for running like a pretty good 13-mile race. I was not worried about getting swept. Like I think I was running pretty solid 14-minute miles and um for context for I think for all the Run Disney races, but at least for the one we're doing, you need to keep up a 16-minute per mile pace. So I was I was not worried about finishing. Like I was, I was good. We ran the um the Salem race the weekend before, and it was kind of drizzling and it was late fall. And the next day I was laid out with bronchitis and strep. Um, so I was super sick and I was flying down to Florida. I mean, I have been seeing my husband only every two weeks. We were meeting in Florida. He was flying from St. Thomas and meeting me there, and it was basically like, okay, we're on vacation, the two of us, which at that point in life was extremely rare. And I could spend part of it going to run this race while I'm actually pretty sick and will probably be like half dead for the rest of vacation. Or I can like appreciate the fact that I trained really well for it and I'm like in really good shape and I'm proud of what I did so far, and just skip the actual like race day. And that's what I decided to do. And I felt really good about it. I think that was a really good decision um to just skip it all together. And we did go to the expo and pick up like my bib and everything, but then I didn't do the race, and I think that was totally the right call. So um, so I have done the expo before, but didn't did not make it to race day. Didn't do the race. So here we are. And then we started training for New York too, didn't you? Uh yeah, in 2023, 2023, I got a bib through the lottery for the New York Marathon. Um, and that training was going pretty well. I was up to I think eight or nine miles. Um, and then I got pneumonia, which turned into a blood clot in my lung, um, which turned into several months of pneumonia. And I was in and out of the hospital for like a good six-month period and did not get to run the race. So if you're not like catching on, Haley often has respiratory problems. My lungs are not doing great. So yeah. So basically, I think our mindset for this race is like go have fun, start it, enjoy all the like start line vibes, and then just go from there, not push ourselves super hard. And when we're done, we're done. Listen to our bodies. Listen to our bodies. Yep. So um there are so if you haven't, if you're not familiar with Run Disney, basically there are people at the back of the at the very back of the race called the balloon ladies. And they're people who keep a 16 minute per mile pace and they wear big balloons on their back so you can kind of see them coming. Um, but the 16 minute per mile pace starts from when they cross the start line, and they're the last ones to start. So if we can start at like the front of our corral, we'll have a few-minute buffer on them, which I think would be good. So we're not, you know, um, like seeing them right behind us the entire time. But I would love my personal like internal goal. If we could make it to like mile five, I think that would be great because that would take us through the race basically starts in the Epcot parking lot, and then you kind of enter Epcot over by Test Track, and then you go all the way around the World Showcase, starting in Mexico, and then you exit over by the International Gateway and head toward the boardwalk and go all down that stretch, and then you go into Hollywood Studios and you do a whole thing around Hollywood Studios, then you exit from there, and there's like a lot of highway time, and that's around mile five. So if we could make it to like mile five and do all the in-park stuff, I think that would be really fun. Um but if we don't go past that, you know, it's fine. It's gonna be fine. But I'm telling myself, it's gonna be fine. What does anything fun happen on the highway or is it just the road? There are character stops, so you can stop and meet characters. I think there's like different entertainment. I think there's maybe some choirs or some bands and stuff like that. Um, but you're not, you know, inside a park. What are they do you know what characters are where? No, and I don't think you find out until the day of the race. Like I think you find out in real time. Because I was just wondering if there's anybody you wanted to meet just because it is your favorite movie. Yeah, no, I'm sure there probably will be, but um, so like I said, I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos, and what some people do who don't want to like stop and wait in the line is they take a little selfie with the character in the background. In the background. They don't have to wait in the character line. I will say when I do my quick five minutes on the treadmill at the gym in the morning, I it's a walk, it's like a kind of slowish walk, and that is like 15-minute mile. Oh wow, okay. Yeah. I mean, I'm really I have very large legs. Stride there, you know. Big stride, big stride, yeah. So we'll just we'll see how we do. Um, I've been listening to um the podcast Bib and Tiara, which is um someone I I I Facebook know um through a different podcast that we're both patrons of. But her name is Sharon, and she does a lot of Run Disney races, and now she has a podcast about like running and triathlons in general. But I've actually messaged her questions about the race that I had, and she was very nice in taking the time to answer me about like what start groups are and stuff like that. But she did um one of the races a few months ago when she was injured, and her mentality for the race was um DNF, so did not finish. But she said it was do nothing foolish. Um her point was a very good way of thinking about it. Yeah, so like she probably could have powered through and run the entire race, but the idea was like not aggravate her injury, save her strength for a race she was doing a month or two later, and so it was do nothing foolish. I think that's a very good mentality for us to have. I like that a lot, yes. So, um, yeah. So okay, so when we get to Disney, we arrive on Thursday night, and I think we're still deciding we can either go to the expo Friday or Saturday. You have to go to the expo to get your bib, and you also get your t-shirt there for the race. Okay. There's a huge expo hall, which I don't think we'll have a lot of interest in, which has all like running gear, basically everything you could possibly need. Um, I don't think we're really gonna need any of that. You do need to get a virtual queue to go into like the merchandise area. I don't think I want to get any merchandise because if we don't finish, I'm not gonna want it. You know what I mean? I mean, I'm not big on merch anyway, just like in general. No. Um so we'll have a shirt from the race. Like, we'll get our shirt. Yeah. Or for doing that. I like only wear my theme park shirts when I'm at theme parks usually. So I don't really like meh. And we get we're wearing different tank tops. We have tank tops that we're wearing. Which I need to get. Yours is at my house. Yeah, I need to get it. Make sure it fits and everything. Um, so we will have to go to the expo to do that, but I don't think we'll be there a super long time because we're kind of just in and out, want to get the bibs and go. Um, and then okay, race morning. Here here is here here are what the times look like for the 10 miler, okay? Um buses from the hotels start at 3 a.m. and they go until 5 a.m. You can get in your corral beginning at 3:45. The event guide says to arrive by 4 a.m., even though the buses go until 5, which is interesting. Um, we have to be in our start group by about 5.25. Like that's when it closes. You have to be in your spot by then. Okay. Um, but the projected start time for I think we'll probably be in corral E or F, which are the two last corrals. Um for Run Disney events, if you submitted a proof of time, which is like you ran another race and showed that you can run like an X minute mile, you would get placed in a higher corral, but we obviously didn't do that. So I think we'll be like at the at the very end. We didn't do that. Um so the actual race starts at five, but if we're in E or F, the projected start time is between 5:45 and 6.30. So that's a lot of standing. A lot of standing.

SPEAKER_01

A lot of hanging out.

SPEAKER_00

But um, I think we probably do want to try to get there on the early end to be at like the front of whatever corral we get assigned to. Like, I don't think we need to be on the first bus at 3 a.m., but maybe like 3 30-ish or so. What do you what do you think? I mean, really, what's the difference between three o'clock and four o'clock, honestly? It's not like a huge deal. Yeah, it isn't like at some point, you know, sleep-wise. Yes. Yeah, and I mean we should bring some Celsius drinks. Yes. They so here's another thing. They do have um like concession stands with coffee and water and stuff like that. So that's good to know. Can you go to them once you've gotten in your corral, or do you have to? I think you have to go before you get in your corral, but that's something I'm a little confused about. Like, can you come and go from your corral or not? Like, are there porta potties in the corral? I don't know. We'll find that out, I guess. Yeah. I did think the really good thing about weaning was I was going to be trying to pump like right before the race and then like check my pump at gear check, and it was gonna be a whole thing. And I'm really glad that I won't have to do that. Like, even if I'm not fully weaned by then, I think I can pump before we leave the hotel and be fine until after nice, even if I'm not 100% done. So that's good, that's really good. So yeah, um, the estimated final finishers are at 9 15, which is good because as I'm looking, I mean, granted, we're still a ways out, but as I'm looking at the forecast light right now, I think it is supposed to be like in the high 80s that day. Okay, which is a lot. That's a lot with the sun. Yes. Yep. In the Floridiness of it all, in the Floridiness, yes. So, um one thing though, if I don't finish, I really like if we get swept, which is what it's called when they load you onto the buses, um, and they bring you back to the start line. I don't want my medal if I don't finish. Is that annoying of me? No. Okay. Because they do give it a even though there was a metal involved here. There is a metal involved, and even if you don't finish, if you start, you still get it. Oh, okay. But I don't I don't think I want it if I don't finish because I'm I'm annoying like that. I think that's fine. I'm not worried about it either way. Okay. The vibes sound really fun at the finish line. Um, it sounds or at the start line. There's like fireworks when each wave starts, and there's fun music, and it seems very exciting and fun. So that's cool. And then I've been watching some videos of people who got swept, and some of them are. Sad, which is a bummer for people who like trained really hard and either got injured or couldn't keep up for whatever reason, and that's a bummer. But there's also a bunch from people like us who started and were like, I'm probably not gonna be able to finish. Like there was one, it was a couple, and the woman had recently had a baby and they had registered like before they knew this was happening, and they're like, We're just gonna start and see how far we go and we'll stop whenever it ceased being fun. Um and that that made me feel good because they said the people who get you on the bus are like very encouraging and it's like very positive. Um, they said once you're on the bus, it's a little bit of a bummer because I think the guy said, like, there's some dead dreams on that bus, and that's that's um, but like overall the process is like, you know, pretty painless. You know, you get on the bus and they bring you back to the start line where you can get your stuff or get your bus, you know, bus back to the hotel. And um yeah, we're just we're gonna kind of see how we do. This is our first time. Can you tell me tell me about snacks and water? So during the 10 miler, there are six stops. Um, I think one is just water, all the rest of them have water and gatoring, and then one of them also has um, I think they're called stingers. They're like those little chews that you have that kind of amps you up. But I got us a pack of goo. I think it's g you, which I used to take when I was training for the marathon. Um, I got the chocolate ones, and I'll just keep a couple of those. I'm dead. I wonder if I'm just gonna it's almost like a very thick pudding. But is it like is it caffeine? Is it uh I'll have to check the pack. I forget if it has caffeine or if it's just like protein or but it's just kind of like a little boost. I'm debating if I'm going to bring so I have our little fanny pack from when we went to Universal. I'm debating if I'm gonna bring that or if I'm just gonna use like my best um like capri pants have pockets in them. I'm not sure if I need the fanny pack or if I can just rely on my pockets. I know. And so the and the water situation, do you know like what the water looks like? Like what is it? It's probably clear. It's I'm guessing. Is it no, like, is it like little cones and it's like two sips of water? Or is it probably a water cone? I haven't seen it, but I'm guessing it's like a two sips of water because usually you take the sip of water and you throw the cup to the side. Usually you just throw it, yeah, and then they pick it up. At least that's how it's been in all the races I've ever done. Okay. Um I might bring, I have a little um running water bottle that like it it kind of straps to your hand, so you kind of hold it, but you don't have to like hold on to it. Maybe I'll get that because I I drink a ton of water when I'm working out. I don't want to have to stop to pee though, ideally, like a lot. So that's a consideration as well. I'll I'll scope out there. There is a start line map. I'll scope out if there's porta potties in the corrals, that would be great. So also, yeah. So yeah, and I think definitely we should get some, like I'll do instead of coffee, I'll do Celsius. Yeah. Um have you ever had those? No. Are those are energy drinks? They're energy drinks. I have had them. John will sometimes bring little packets of it. You can either buy it pre-made and it's kind of carbonated, okay. Or you can get packets of powder and mix it with water, which is easy to travel with. So that's often like if I know I'm um not gonna have time for coffee before a park day, I'll have like half a Celsius packet. They are a little intense. I I started drinking them before working out when I was trying to wean myself off of the pre-workout because it would make me a psycho. Um and so this was like a little baby step down from the pre-workout I had been taking. But they're for something like this, that'd be perfect. Yeah. And I feel like we'll probably, once we get to the start line, be pretty amped up. You know, it's gonna be exciting. It looks really fun. I think there's some characters at the start line, maybe like before you start. So that's fun. Um I know the resort food courts usually have a runner's box that you can pick up the night before because everything's closed in the morning. Yeah. Um, where you can get like a bagel and a banana or something like that. Um we'll scope out what that's all about because we'll definitely get like hard-boiled eggs and a bagel or something like that. Yeah, we don't do bananas here at Mickey with Minnie's. They're rude. Yeah. Um what are we wearing? Well, so Haley got us for Christmas tank tops. The tanks, I think they're the official, right? No, I got those off Etsy. Oh, okay. But they're great theme. Yep. Yep. And then I was thinking maybe we need a tutu that is the color of the lime green. Oh, cute. Yeah, I just have fun. I just messaged someone on Etsy about um a little running skirt, but I know I missed the order deadline. So I was just like, hey, if you happen to have any in this size in stock, like let me know. Running skirt, like, does it have shorts in it? Um, they she has ones with and without shorts. And they said any would probably be fine, but um, just let me know if you have any in stock that you could like rush ship, awesome, but if not, no big deal. Um, so TBD on that. But I'll definitely be wearing my like capri pants um that I'm super comfortable in, and then the tank top, and then we'll see if we can come up with like a skirt situation to go with it, skirt or tutu situation. I need to check. I have a good pair of um like bicycle length gym shorts that have good like pockets. Okay. I have not worn them. I usually wear shorter shorts for lifting if I'm gonna wear shorts.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

And they're not something you would want to run in if you have thighs like we do. No. Um I th I should try on the bike shorts and make sure that as my butt has gotten significantly larger with all of the working out, I still fit into them because they were a pair that I bought when I first started going to the gym. But I'll probably wear some semblance of something like that, like uh long shorts, um yeah, with pockets. And then yeah, two two, and then I wasn't sure if I needed like a running belt. I know we talked about this on a different episode, but I was trying to think about what do I want to have with me. And they've gotta have first aid stations, right? Yes, yes. So if you end up in a band-aid situation, they're gonna be able to help you. Right.

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

So I don't need to carry like that kind of thing. It's gonna be early enough that I don't need to worry about like redoing sunscreen. Right. Yeah, well sunscreen beforehand. I want water. Yeah. And you know, like maybe like a peanut butter packet or something. Yes. Or then I'm gonna want to situation. My phone my ID and my debit card, probably. Put a wallet on the back of your phone. I should do that. I should do that. I have a magnetic one. Okay. Although it's you, you should get a stick on one. Don't get a magnetic one. I should. I lo I lose my cards constantly. Drop your phone. Yeah, magnet comes off usually. Oh, okay. Oh, good to know. Which is fine for some people. Not great for you, given the state of your phone. Oh my gosh. Yeah, so I think that's kind of all we're gonna bring. And yeah, basically just trying to go into it with like a good attitude. Because what I don't want to have happen is, you know, we don't get to do these sister trips that often. I don't want to feel stressed Friday and Saturday about the race. And then assuming we don't finish, I don't want to feel bummed on Sunday because it's a quick trip. Bummed or injured. Bummed or injured. Yeah, we don't want that. So we want to go into the right mentality. I'm excited to meet people. We're gonna do um a patron meetup for another podcast we listen to, and then um, I used to be more active on Disboards. I'm not super active these days, but I know they have like a meetup, I think the morning of the race to like get a group picture and stuff. So if we can check that out, that would be cool. Yeah, but again, I don't know how that works. Like, do we meet in a certain corral? Do we have to wait to get in our corral till that happens? I I don't know. So, and I also don't I don't think anybody from my agency is doing the 10 miler. I think there's a couple people doing the 5k. Okay, cool. So I'll have to like reach out and see who's gonna be around that weekend because we really don't have a lot set in stone for plans. No, and I was just gonna say, speaking of not set in stone, we haven't figured out what we're gonna eat immediately after the race. So we need to keep pondering that a little bit because I feel like there's gonna be like a brunch that needs to happen potentially. What time does this get over? The they project that the last finishers will be 9 15. So we should be back to our hotel. For us, like 7:30, basically. We're probably done. Yes. So by like 10-ish, we should be back to the hotel for like quick showers and back out we go. We're staying at a non-bougie hotel, and we are so spoiled, it's ridiculous. I know, but I've been checking reviews of it and now I'm pretty excited to check it out. Our hotel? Yeah. Which area? Movies, all-star movies. Movies, yes. Okay. Of the all-stars, it's definitely the one I'm most excited about, I think. Um, and I've never stayed there before. I've stayed at sports, I think maybe twice. I don't think I've ever stayed at music. I think this is my first time at movies. So I'm excited to check it out. And you know, on these sister trips, we tend to go from like rope drop to park clothes, no matter how much we say we're not gonna do that. So I know. Oh my goodness. I would love like a little bit of pool time, so a little bit at least. So um, so this isn't brunch exactly, but we do have beacon barrel at 10 and also 11 45. Okay, good, good. We should not be for that. No, okay. Oh boy. Oh right, though, we should figure out a breakfast for sure. Yeah, for sure. Would we go straight to breakfast in our sweaty stuff? We might be really hungry. I think I think quick showers first. I'm the sweatiest human I know is the problem I like, don't sweat. Yeah. Um I sweat a lot. I'm sweating right now. I sweat all the time. I'm sweating right now. It snowed today. Uh, I potentially have a breast infection from weaning. It's going really well. Okay. Um, no, one time I went to a workout class with Cooper. Well, he was little, and it was like early spring. So everyone was still in sweatshirts. It was still a little chilly, and he he was a little. He was like, Mama, it's raining at your workout class, but only on your head. What he meant was I was the only mom there soaked in sweat. The only one sweating. Nobody else was actively sweating, but I was. Oh my god. Oh my god. Very funny. So funny. Yeah, well, where would we want to go? Uh, I don't know. I mean, I guess it depends where we're going for that day for the park, which I think we still do not have set in stone, right? So we'll have to look at it and kind of see. We're already doing homecoming. Yes, on Monday, right? Before we fly out. Yeah. Yeah. Has TSA gone back to normal? I don't know, Danielle. I don't I'm not watching the news. I I think that's for the best, to be honest. It was a very stressful news day today. I've heard that Boston has not been bad for TSA, but Orlando. I heard Orlando has been pretty bad. So we'll have to give that a little tonder. Because how heartbreaking would it be if we missed our flight home and had to stay in Disney an extra day. That would just be that would just be terrible, especially since I think all these newfound vacation days that expire. Yeah. Although we missed like three days from being sick after we got back from our last trip. So it'd be not a good luck. Okay. Not a good luck. But like if you want to fly out earlier on Thursday, just let me know. I'm when I'm all over it. That you know how I roll, Danielle. You know how I roll. I don't know how I change a flight on points. I'm not a real grown-up. And I don't I as an agent, I don't book flights. So like I don't have to know how to do that. Yeah. Um, the most exciting thing, I am very, very close to hitting um mosaic on JetBlue, which is their like most basic level of like status, I guess, for lack of a better word. But one of the perks that comes with it is you get free same-day flight changes. And I'm like, this was mean for me. Honestly, honestly, they shouldn't give you that kind of power. They should give me that power. I'm gonna change it so many times. This is huge. And and normally when you do a same-day flight change with Jet Blue, you can't do it until midnight in the time zone you're taking off from. If you're mosaic, you can do it a full 24 hours ahead of time. Imagine the changes I could make, Danielle. You would change so many times. I would be drunk with power. Drunk with power. It's your it's one of your toxic traits. It is, it is. I have a problem. Oh my god. There was, I think it was our last sister trip where it was like until that day. I wasn't sure what flight we were gonna be on. Okay, and that was kind of like there was a reason for that. That was because we were flying Delta, and Delta's same day changes are stupid. So that's why that happened. If we had been flying jet blue, it would have been smooth sailing, we would have flown out at like 9 a.m. It would have been great. Oh my god, it would have been awesome. Wild, wild, wild behavior. Yeah, so I can't wait to find out what all of this really is. I know, I'm excited. I'm already planning the next race I'm gonna sign up for when I'll definitely be in better shape and very committed to a training plan. So get psyched, Danielle. I'm not doing another race. This is not, I only did this one because I wanted to go back to Disney World. Well, I'm just saying you might love it. I think that's extremely unlikely. We had this thing called the Moscato Mile. So I there was a coach at our high school, Mr. Moscato, he was a football coach for ages, and I think had been like a gym teacher, maybe. The Moscato mile was you had to be able to finish a mile faster than him. He was an older gentleman, and his was a 19-minute mile. Okay. Did I finish it? Or did I get a CA in gym? Ooh. On principle. On principle. I walked that so slow. I walked it so slow. I like literally and you did it, you did it around our old neighborhood, like around Western Ave. Yes, yeah. And I was like sauntering down the road. You you know what? You can't tell me what to do. You're not gonna tell me what to do. I didn't sign up to be running here. The state can't make me do this, so I'm gonna really, really stretch it out. And I got swept from the Moscato Mile and out of Zim. And I regret nothing, frankly. It's okay. We're gonna have no regrets. It's just we're gonna relax. I think it's worth doing this isn't junior high. I did not really have friends. I was doing this protest by myself. It's not like I was like chilling out with some girls in the back. Like, nope. Just didn't yell. Well, if we had been in the same grade, I would have been there with you. So no, you like to win things and do things. Oh, I like to get A's. I like gold stars. It is so hard for me. The reason I keep being like, we're gonna go into this race with a good attitude and we're just gonna enjoy ourselves. I'm telling myself that. I'm repeatedly telling myself that so that I don't ruin the reason why. You don't need to hear it. You're fine, it's gonna be great. I'm like a type C. Is there one that's even less invested than type B? Yes. Yes. I think I think so. Oh boy. Well, all right, I have to go um sort out children and stuff. So um, hey, if anybody's listening to this and they think I'd like this unhinged woman to book my vacation for me, I would love to help. Danielle Griggs, G-R-I-G G S at fantasticalvacations.com, which I know is a mouthful. Um, and yeah, I would love to help you um plan some bonkers trip of your dreams. Okay, see you real soon. See you real soon.
